How much will kitchen remodeling cost?

In general, kitchen remodeling can cost:

• $10,000 to $20,000 to replace the kitchen cabinets, countertops, and other products with economical materials
• $20,000 to $40,000 for mid-range products and some redesign of the kitchen layout
• $40,000 or more for a gourmet kitchen with custom cabinets and commercial appliances

How long will the project take?

A kitchen remodeling project can last from six weeks to several months, depending on the number of structural changes and other factors. If you are just replacing the kitchen cabinets, countertop, and floor, the work might be finished in six weeks.

How much lead time do I need when ordering products?

The answer will vary based on the product. It's wise to order kitchen cabinets and any specialty items as soon as you can. These products can take six to eight weeks or longer.
